Sara E. Edwards

Sara E. Edwards focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including dissolution of marriage, high-conflict custody disputes, and complex property division. She guides her clients through difficult legal transitions by managing both the emotional and financial challenges inherent in family law.

Prior to joining the firm, Sara practiced at a high-end family law firm in Los Angeles, where she gained experience working on sophisticated family law matters involving complex financial issues and high-net-worth individuals.

Sara earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School, where she distinguished herself in advocacy and dispute resolution. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women’s Studies, magna cum laude, from University of Georgia.

During law school, Sara served as a Student Attorney in the Domestic Violence Clinic, assisting clients in civil matters including custody disputes and domestic violence restraining orders. She was also highly active in moot court and alternative dispute resolution competitions, winning Tulane’s school-wide Negotiation Competition and the New York State Bar Mediation Competition. In recognition of her advocacy skills, she was inducted into the Order of the Barristers Moot Court Honor Society upon graduation.

Outside of her practice, Sara enjoys spending time with friends, discovering new places throughout California, wine tasting, collecting and listening to vinyl records, and staying active through workouts, especially spin classes.
