Lily Fulgieri

Attorney

Lily Fulgieri is an accomplished family law attorney with a focused expertise in domestic violence matters. She has worked exclusively in family law since 2017 and is dedicated to guiding survivors and families through some of the most challenging and emotionally charged legal situations, with a practice that emphasizes safety, dignity, and long‑term stability. Known for her compassionate, direct, and strategic approach, Lily is experienced in handling cases involving domestic violence restraining orders, child custody and visitation, support, and related family law issues where abuse and coercive control are present.

Before entering private practice, Lily spent three and a half years working at the San Francisco Family Court, where she assisted on hundreds of family law cases. In this role, she worked closely with self‑represented litigants, attorneys, and court staff, helping to navigate the complex intersection of family dynamics, trauma, and legal procedure. This experience deepened her commitment to making the court process more understandable and accessible, and it continues to inform her client‑centered approach to advocacy.

 Lily’s time in the San Francisco courts also gave her a rare, behind‑the‑scenes understanding of the judicial perspective. Having worked with many prominent judges on the San Francisco bench, she gained insight into how judicial officers evaluate evidence, assess credibility, and make decisions in high‑stakes family law and domestic violence cases. This unique vantage point sharpened her analytical skills and honed the meticulous preparation and attention to detail that define her practice today.

 Lily earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and master’s degree from Central European University before obtaining her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, School of Law. While at U.C. Davis, she served as a research assistant and a legal writing teaching assistant, experiences that refined her skills in legal analysis, persuasive writing, and clear communication.

Drawing on her court experience, specialized knowledge of domestic violence, and strong academic foundation, Lily tailors her strategies to the needs of each client, whether that means negotiating protective and child‑centered agreements or presenting a clear, compelling case in court. She is committed to helping clients understand their options, protect their rights, and move forward with confidence during an extraordinarily difficult time in their lives.

In her free time, Lily is an avid runner and loves to collect antiques.
